Day 1: Arrival - Aosta

Founded by the Romans as Augusta Praetoria, Aosta still fascinates with ancient monuments such as the theatre, the Arch of Augustus and the forum. Between Romanesque churches, medieval castles and charming Alpine villages, visitors experience a unique blend of history, culture and nature — surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Alps.

Day 2: Gran Paradiso Park

Established in 1922 as Italy’s first national park, Gran Paradiso spans the Aosta Valley and Piedmont. Among its towering peaks, including the 4,061 m Gran Paradiso, live ibexes, marmots and even the bearded vulture, reintroduced after a century. A true paradise for nature lovers, hikers and climbers, rich in Alpine flora and fauna.

Day 3: Turin – Superga

Discover the elegant former capital of the Kingdom of Savoy: Palazzo Madama, the Cathedral of St. John with the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, and the city’s symbol, the Mole Antonelliana. Walk beneath its arcades and enjoy a coffee in one of its historic cafés. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Palace — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — and the magnificent Basilica of Superga, emblems of royal history and Italian elegance.

Day 4: Casale Monferrato and rice cultivation

A stroll through Casale Monferrato reveals treasures such as the Cathedral, San Filippo Neri Church and the Paleologi Castle. Afterwards, visit a traditional rice farm founded in 1890 to learn about cultivation and processing methods. The tour ends with a live cooking demonstration and tasting of authentic Piedmontese risotto — a true flavour experience.

Day 5: Asti - La Morra

Once a powerful medieval republic, Asti enchants with its towers, Romanesque-Gothic churches and the birthplace of the renowned Asti Spumante. Continue to La Morra for a winery visit, tasting and traditional Piedmontese lunch. End the day in Alba, city of truffles and a hundred towers, where history, taste and culture come together in perfect harmony.

Day 6: Saluzzo - Staffarda

The former marquisate town of Saluzzo lies picturesquely beneath the Monviso mountain range. Above the old town rises the castle, while narrow streets host workshops crafting fine furniture. In the lower town, admire the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta before visiting the Romanesque Cistercian Abbey of Staffarda — a place of serenity and timeless beauty.

Day 7: Return home

After breakfast, return home.
